Who can attend?
7th-12th graders. We also encourage you to invite your friends!

How are we getting there?
We'll be renting 2 15-passenger vans to drive from FBC to Sebring, FL (2 hours)

What are the accommodations?
We'll be staying in Camp Sparta's guys/girls cabins which can hold 8-10 people each.

What should I pack?
Click here for a list of recommended items to pack.

What should I wear?
-
We'll be playing a lot of outdoor games, so be sure to bring clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
-
For lake activities (boating, the blob), please wear a dark t-shirt/tank top and swim shorts. Lifejackets are also required for these activities.
-
Casual clothes are acceptable for chapel services.

Can I bring my cell phone?
You can bring your cell phone on the trip to and from camp, but cell phones will not be permitted during the retreat. We'll collect them upon our arrival and keep them in a secure area until our departure. Youth leaders will have their cell phones if parents need to contact their teen for any reason.

Will there be other teens on the campsite?
Since we have a small group, there is a chance that we'll be sharing the campsite with a second group running their own retreat. Otherwise, it will be just our group and the Camp Sparta Staff?

Will our church be running the retreat or Camp Sparta?
Camp Sparta provides: lodging, meals, and a large meeting facility. They also provide Free time activities including outdoor courts (basketball, court hockey & sand volleyball), disc golf, The BLOB, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, bonfires, paintball, an indoor activity center and much more!

Our youth leaders will be responsible for the camp program, schedule, supervision, and chapel services.
