Teens Can Be Examples for All Believers
“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity”(I Tim. 4:12). What does God expect from a teenager? We believe that God has a plan and purpose for the teenage years. Our teens are encouraged to approach their calling with a sense of purpose and mission, and ultimately live their lives for Christ, starting now. God's Word says they can be examples for adults!
Teen Years Are Adventurous Years
We believe the Christian life for a teen is an adventure that requires a deep, heartfelt commitment, and we plan activities that center around the theme of adventure. From snorkeling in the Florida Keys, to Whitewater Rafting in the Carolinas, to accomplishing a “Mission Impossible” on a Saturday night, FBC teens have no lack of adventure--and a fundamental part of that adventure is the development of their spiritual lives.
Teens Thrive on the Word of God
That's why preaching and teaching God's Word is central to youth ministry at Faith. It's the only thing that can change a young believer to be more like Christ! Join us every Wednesday night for praise, prayer, and preaching. The Youth Ministry here at Faith partners with the Family and concentrates on being proactive and practical, looking for opportunities to connect with, listen to, and lovingly instruct teenagers in the Word of God.
